Day 1
Start at 13.30 from your hotel in coastal Bali or 14.15 from Ubud and tour central Bali, arriving at Natural Hot Springs around 16.00 to choose your campsite. Enjoy swimming and soaking in the hot springs until dark, and at 19.30 join in a barbecue of fresh lake fish. Turn in early so as to be completely refreshed and ready for your early morning mountain climb.

Day 2
Wake up at 2.30 am. for a hot drink and transfer to the climb start point at Pura Jati. after a safety briefing set off cross the lunar landscape. The gentle climb takes approximately two hours, so you will arrive at the summit in time to see the first light of the day steaking across the sky as you have your breakfast. On a clear day Mount Rinjani in Lombok, and Mount Tambora can be seen.

Circumnavigate the crater before setting out back down the volcano. Arrive back at Natural Hot Springs around 10.00 am. with time to relax and refresh in the hot springs and swim at leisure. At midday a buffet lunch will be served, before you pack up and leave the peaceful mountains to return to your hotel.
