Fragrance -- an exhibition of paintings by Kerry Pendergrast

 The rediscovery of fragrance and texture of torch ginger, tuber rose, jasmine, highland roses, bougainvillea and banana blossoms started an interpretation of floral paintings, by one of our most prolific women painters in Bali, Kerry Pendergrast.
She was born in Perth, Western Australia in 1963. She studied at Curtin University, graduating with a bachelor of arts, majoring in literatur e and theatre. She performed as an actor and singer. She paints vibrant watercolours and draws with a distinct line in the model sessions. She also loves to go out to draw pastel gardens, views and landscapes.
Kerry has painted over the past months depicting asian flora. You can enjoy Fragrance by Kerry Pendergrast at Maya Ubud Resort & Spa from January 17 – February 10, 2004.
