The kitchen dining pavilion is fully air-conditioned although the elevated dining pavilion can be fully opened to relish \'al fresco\' eating with the garden and river below. It seats eight in comfort and access to the kitchen is through an antique teak wall door.
The kitchen has all modern equipment designed for \'hygiene\' and easy cleaning. A pantry and laundry area is adjacent. From the \'overflow\' pool and lounge chairs one can enjoy the view of the rising, green rice paddies and the river rapids. In the nearby open-air bale, one can relax on the cushions or delight in a Balinese massage to selected music. Over the river bank in the shade of mature trees, is a deck with a lounge and rocking chair providing an additional tranquil spot to relax.
An ambience of simplicity, yet warmth, has been created by the use of teak and local stone. In the decor, the subtle colours of local wood, terracotta and woven materials, prevail. A well known Garden Architect was used to take adventage of the land\'s sloping character and the river front to create a natural environment with a variety of tropical trees, palms, fragrant flower and ferns.
Water is an important part of Bali and also to Villa Pangi Gita. The upper part has still ponds as well as softly running water ponds and the lower part with its river front and light rapids deliver pleasing sounds to both guests bedrooms, master bedroom pavilion and pool area.
The master suite has a walk-in dressing room, a large bathroom with a tub for two facing the \'exercise deck\' and garden. It is fully air-conditioned, has a Queen size four-posted bed, TV, Video, CD player, hair dryer and safe. The exterior breakfast area, overlooking the lower end of the gardens and pool, is for enjoying plants and fragrances. The location of the master suite gives \'distance\' to guests and quiet privacy.
The two separate air-conditioned guest pavilions are similar. The Balinese style bathroom faces a lush and totally private tropical garden. As in all pavilions the high ceilings with its characteristic beam structure and teak give character and space. A covered verandah with a day bed, provides shady open air relaxation. Queen size four-posted bed, TV, Video, CD player, hair dryer and safe are supplied.
The spacious, cathedral room open living pavilion with its richly cushioned seating area, provides a comfortable lounging/entertaining space. Its centrepiece is a large Han (100BC) terracotta Horse. A Javanese Bronze Budha, gives serenity to the base wall. The \'Study Pavilion\' gives an air-conditioned alternative living room should there be a need to escape the heat. It can also be fully opened to enjoy the pond giving one the impression of floating on water. It has a seating area for TV, reading and music with an antique desk. The stereo CD system for the living area, dining and pool bale is controlled from here. A varied collection of CD\'s and books are available as well as VCD\'c and a fax.
