This expansive 3-bedroom villa offers magnificent views of Benoa Harbour from its elevated location. Traditional Balinese architecture and materials blend with modern western design. The well-established garden evokes a sense of retreat. Terraced garden beds and cascading ponds follow the lay of the gently sloping land. If you are staying with friends but still want your privacy, Villa Gedong Sari is ideal as each bedroom has its own sitting area with superb views.
Open-air living and dining areas feature high thatched ceilings and tasteful Indonesian furniture and, again, expansive water views. Design elements include timber floors, sandstone, marble, coconut wood pillars and tropical greenery. For entertaining, there is a Japanese-style tatami table that seats 14 under a garden Bale. At night, garden torches and lighting create magic and romance under a vast, star-heavy sky.
