 Kuta ~ Bali, December 2007… DaLa Spa is delighted to announce that since its official launch in October 2007, it has already been honoured by Asia’s regional spa and wellness industry.
During the recent Baccarat AsiaSpa Awards 2007 held in Hong Kong, DaLa Spa was a nominee in two categories of this celebrated event. A panel of high profile judges decided to shortlist DaLa Spa in the ‘New Spa of the Year’ and ‘Spa Interior Design of the Year’ categories respectively. Although not fortunate enough to be chosen as overall winner, the prestige of being nominated along side The Barai, COMO Shambhala, Chi Spa, Banyan Tree Spa, The Peninsula Spa and other well established spa venues within the region was an achievement in its own right.
The Baccarat AsiaSpa Awards is an annual event that sets a benchmark for spas in the region, as well as around the world. It recognizes innovation and quality within the spa industry and duly rewards those who aim for perfection.
DaLa Spa was also voted the ‘Best New Spa’ during the Asia Spa & Wellness Festival 2007 Gold Awards that was hosted in Kuala Lumpur on 30th November through until 2nd December. This three day event was the very first of its kind in Asia and was an opportunity for leading authorities on all aspects of the spa industry to gather and share knowledge and experience.
DaLa Spa was designed as an opulent wellness facility with a strong brand that stands out from other spa venues on the island of Bali. Early recognition from some of Asia’s most respected figures in the industry is a most encouraging sign. DaLa Spa has certainly filled a niche for spa connoisseurs visiting Bali with its unique menu of nurturing body and beauty rituals. |
