Location
Puri Taman Sari situated in Umabian Village, Marga district of Tabanan Regency. Puri Taman Sari is set in the naturally Balinese style village, where the green rice field and the birdsongs unite in the nature's gorgeousness. Yet Puri Taman Sari is only 1.5 hours drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, and only 15 minutes to the great magnificent Taman Ayun Temple, one of Balinese Glorious Ages' cultural heritages.
Leisure
Experience the real Balinese way of living at Puri Taman Sari. You can view and even participate in the Balinese traditional preparation for religious ceremonies, while visiting the royal temple and palace of Mengwi are allowed within minutes away.
You can also watch the tireless local teacher and his pupils practicing sophisticated traditional dances and instruments. Moreover, just try the traditional Puri Taman Sari traditional style kitchen, and experience cooking the Balinese delicacies.
Just step outside your room and take walks through the terraced rice-fields and along the river, you will find some traditional villages where you can experience daily people's life, such as planting and plowing rice-fields. Just feel like Balinese!

Puri Taman sari comprises pavilions, including the fully air conditioned 1 suite room, 3 deluxe rooms and 4 standard rooms with fan within the traditional designed architectures and interiors following ancient laws of magical harmony. The Puri Taman Sari compound also consists of the family temple and a traditional kitchen around a well-kept yard, while some pavilions have a private porch overlooking the ricefields, just outside the compound.

| The villas were excellent but not important - the place itself was just incredible. You were just in the middle of nature with the ricefields just round the corner. If you go to Bali you shouldn*t miss this. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, not a lot of people know about this place. We were lucky, our friend lives on Bali and knows where to go to find the real Bali, not the tourist island! I recommend this place - good food served overlooking the rice-fields with the cikadas and frog-sounds alla around! We will be back!!! |
