A cold mountain area which is always covered by fogs before 8.00 am and after 5.00 am. For years this region has been an important asset for Bali's tourism industry because of its fascinating view. This 58 kms distance from Denpasar City will greeting you with its nice view set up by mountains range, valley, caldera, lake Batur and familiar and hospitality citizen. That is Panelokan, the first village you will find before reaching the center part of Kintamani district, about 4 kms to the north of Penelokan.
Around the massive volcanic caldera of Bali's most famous volcano, Mount Batur and the shores of its crater lake, lies spectacular and picturesque hiking terrain.

Start Time
We will pick up in a little bit different time depend on your hotel location. If you are staying at Kuta or Nusadua area, we will pick you up in time range of 02.00 am; Sanur area at 02.15; and Ubud area at 02.30 am; Singaraja area at 02.15 am.

Starting with a magical day ...
After having breakfast at a local restaurant on 03.30 am, you will be driven down to the edge of the lake Batur using private transport where the trek begins. You will stop in front of the temple Pura Jati, one of holiest temples in the area. From here you will start your climbing to the peak of Mount Batur guided by our experience staff. The day is still in dark although the sun will have colourized the sky little bit with its a bright line at the time. In the middle of the distance to the peak, we will have a stop for a rest and drinking. The drinks have been provided by our staff for you without extra cost. It is about 5.00 am.
Keeping on climbing to the peak after taking a rest, now you should see the shadow of the three nearby mountains; Mount Abang, Mount Agung and Mount Rinjani in Lombok island. Together with other mountains range and lake Batur and its caldera, they set up a nice view in front of you as the day is getting brighter but still dark. The view will even better when you reach the peak at about 06.00 am.
Now the view has its own best. The sun is raising from the range of mountains. Its shine is breakthrough the hills around Mount Batur. In the golden shine of the sun, the three mounts are greeting you with all their fascinating. Take a cup of coffee served by our staff for you, keep on enjoying the view. This will happen for about 25 minutes. So enjoy it for your satisfaction and don't miss it. After that the sun will shine you brighter at the peak of the mount ....
After drinking a cup of coffee, then you ahve to descend the path leading toward the lake, with another brief stop en route. Drinking water will be provided by our staff. Arrive back at the shore of Lake Batur at 08.45 am we will have a stop at the Hot Springs for a refreshing bath.

Completing your jouney
After taking a bath, you will be driven to Penelokan to have a lunch there. Your tour is in one-step-ahead complete after lunch. Transfer to your hotel will complete your tour. You will arrive back at your hotel at 14.00 pm (depend on your hotel location).
