No motor- bikes or cars were permitted on this island to disturb its content tranquility. Lamps in the night were scarce and limitless moon night reached down to greet the island and embrace it in a star- filled sky.

If you are of like mind, you are most welcome to enjoy the tropical gifts of relaxation, of snorkeling and scuba diving in rich under- water gardens with excellent equipment and western dive teachers, of fishing in the early hours of the night, of seeing the island's 8 kilometer circumference from the back of a Cidomo, the traditional Lombok horse cart, from which you can see the silhouettes of the mighty volcanoes Mount Agung in Bali and Mount Rinjani in Lombok.

After a day in the sun, we invite you to join us for some true island delights such as grilled fresh fish with delicious, sauces, mouthwatering Asian specialties followed by a wide range of tropical ice creams served in their natural fruit shells. After dinner, entertainment includes "the Party", a rotating nightly in one of the many favorite haunts on the beach, where you can dance the night away
