The
province of Jambi is located in Central Sumatra encompassing an area of
53,435 km2 almost 60% consisting of forest area has made the
province not only the home of a large variety of fauna and flora but also
an exciting place for the sporty and adventure types. Temperatures seldom
reach 90o F (33o C) and usually vary during the

C) and are cooler on the mountains. Jambi province has a population of
about 2.031.954 million consisting of Jambinese, Minangkabau, Javanese,
Sundanese and descendants of Indiana and Chinese. About 90% are Moslem
and the remaining 10% are Christians, Hindus and Buddhists.

alam hutan Bulian is a central conservation of kayu Bulian (Evisideroxylon
Zwageri). In this forest we could make a research on a unique plant or
just having a sightseeing for the beauty of primier forest vegetation.
This forest covers about 7480 in square. In order to reach this forest,
we have to make a land trip from Jambi city through Muara Bulian town.
Taman wisata Rengas Condong is located in the central part of Muara
Bulian town. This is the entertainment center for local people. This place
provides various game facilities for children and the young such as water
cycle, Kincir, animal park, flower garden and so on.
Penangkaran buaya,
or Crocodile Conservation Center is located on Kebun IX village, in the
district of Jambi. It's about 48 kms out of Jambi city.
In this place you can see the conservation system for crocodile using
local technology. The brave of the employee in serving the wild animal
may give a special impression for you.
