 The Village Restaurant & Bar serves up some of the most visionary cuisine in Bali. It is the culmination of Austrian Chef, Andreas Achaz's 23 years of experience in the food and beverage business; his last 18 years having been spent travelling and working worldwide.
The restaurant, which is open daily from 8 am until midnight, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, offers a refreshingly different, light, innovative cuisine. There is also an extensive selection of vegetarian dishes and homemade pastas.
Some of the mouth watering favourites include the New Orleans Style Crabcakes with beetroot aeoli served with seasonal greens and balsamic vinaigrette, Homemade Vegetable Lasagna with smoked tomato coulis, and the selection of Local Fish and Shellfish. Don't miss the Frozen Macadamia Nut Souffle accompanied by the Village Cappuccino, a must for caffeine addicts.
Making a decision isn't always easy, but at The Village Restaurant & Bar you will want to take the time to appreciate the alluring decor - a reflection of Andreas' European heritage successfully blended with traditional Balinese elements - as you enjoy the complimentary basket of homemade bread and condiments. Whatever you choose, you can expect the highest standard of quality and service.
The restaurant also has a colourful bar with an equally colourful staff. They will always find time to juggle the bottles in-between mixing some of the coolest cocktails on the island. When you are there you can check out the Balinese Dance performance on Saturday nights, starting at 8 pm. The restaurant also has a newly opened, but expanding, bakery adjoining the property. A must for freshly baked homemade bread, croissants and pastries.
