Hi everybody! When we were at your hotel now about 6 oder 7 yoears ago we had a wonderfull stay! Everything was excellent!

I have stayed at this Hotel 6 times over the passed 3 years. The hotel, staff and facilites are second to none. I have never stopped anywhere that offers the personal touch that the Melia gives. The tropical grounds are amazing, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff cannot do enough to make your stay memorable. It is a tropical paradise, an enchanting hotel.

Close to the foot of the majestic and still active Mt Agung, Dukuh Sibetan villagers are only too aware of their precarious existence. When the volcano erupted in 1963, sand and rocks blanketed the village farmlands, making a return to normal agriculture impossible. One of the few crops that were able to survive in these new conditions, however, was salak- the snake fruit, already present in the area for hundreds of years.
