Hotel Padma Bali is delighted to announce that it will run an enticing Salmon Promotion from 25th September through until 15th October 2003, exclusively at its newest dining facility, Bella Rosa.
Quality salmon will be imported especially from Tasmania for this promotion to be available for dinner at Bella Rosa. Hotel Padma Bali’s Executive Chef, John Taylor has created an innovative menu that will showcase the delicious flavour and versatility of salmon. Several of the dishes have even been dedicated and named after members of the Bella Rosa team.
The special salmon menu will be featured daily throughout the promotion at as an alternative to Bella Rosa’s usual authentic Italian cuisine. All items from the salmon promotion menu are rupiah based and start quite reasonably at Rp 85,000- (inclusive of government tax and service charge).
A selection of delicious light appetizers include Warm Salmon Nicoise Salad – warm Tasmanian salmon in a vegetable tomato and vinaigrette sauce, or Smoked Salmon Croque Monsieur – small pan-fried filled sandwiches with smoked salmon, herbs and cheese.
For something more substantial the main course section includes choices such as Salmon Steak, Salmon Skewers, Salmon Quiche and to uphold the Italian theme, Lasagna ‘Sari’ – salmon and roasted pepper ragout topped with mozzarella and goats cheese.
A sumptuous complimentary dessert of Rhubarb Strawberry Brulee accompanies all main courses chosen from the salmon promotion.
Chef John Taylor comments, “Fresh salmon is a healthy and popular dish with all nationalities. However, there is sometimes a misconception that salmon is expensive as it is invariably associated with fine wines. In conjunction with this promotion, I want to highlight how adaptable salmon is with a tasty selection of appetizers and main courses that are all very reasonably priced. Bella Rosa’s Salmon Promotion is open to all Hotel Padma Bali guests, outside visitors and members of the community in an effort to introduce just how delicious salmon can be in a number of different presentations. In the future I hope to run similar promotions to expose all sorts of imported and local produce, and create an awareness of the top quality food that is now available in Bali.”
Bella Rosa was officially launched at Hotel Padma Bali earlier this year. From its elevated height, the restaurant overlooks Legian beachfront with unparalleled sunset views over the Indian Ocean. Open daily from 11.00 am until 10.30 pm, Bella Rosa is ideal for casual lunches, a quick specialty coffee and cake or more intimate dining occasions accompanied by a choice selection of international fine wines. Catering to a broad cross-section of diners, the restaurant features an indoor air-conditioned area, outdoor terraces and a strictly non-smoking area. Easily accessible for outside guests via a service road that runs along Legian beach, Bella Rosa is an inviting setting where cuisine and décor are of a superior standard.
