it gives me great pleasure to present the latest edition of in harmony with the gangsa, our online initiative that conveys all of the latest news, promotions and staff activities from our small property in the priestly village of sanur.
the gangsa proudly comes under the kayumanis corporate banner and there will be some very special events and activities that will unite the two brands in the coming months. we are currently preparing for the kayumanis food festival that we will host over two consecutive evenings in may 2008. guests can expect a fine dining experience as four talented balinese chefs join forces to take the island’s culinary scene by storm. together we have also launched a brand new excursion that ventures beyond bali to explore the cultural delights of jogjakarta in neighbouring java.
there is plenty of excitement as we enter the second quarter of 2008. we are also committed to several social initiatives that are in line with our vision to bridge the gap between the hospitality industry and the local community. we endeavor to apply the balinese hindu philosophy of attaining balance to operations on a daily basis and ultimately our guests can sense this harmony throughout the duration of each and every stay.
