Bali Zoo Park & Bali Bird Park
These two zoo parks are close one to another. The difference is lying on the inhabitant. Bali Zoo Park is inhabited with any animals: tiger, orang utan, crocodile, deer, and others. Meanwhile Bali Bird Park is more interesting by presenting 250 different species of birds from Indonesia, Africa, and South America. The Bali Bird Park’s management also shows many attractions that all visitors can take a picture with any birds and feed them.
Goa Gajah
Goa Gajah or people may recognize it as elephant cave has been added to UNESCO World Heritage in 1995. This site was built in 9th century together with the bathing temple. Goa Gajah is situated in Blahbatuh, Gianyar surrounded by verdant rice fields and Petanu River. Apart from its beauty, people around it still have no clear idea about the origins of this sacred site.
Museum
Gianyar is a home of eight museums which are preserving legendary paintings and ancient stuffs. The relatives of Antonio Blanco built The Blanco Renaissance’s museum to showcase Antonio’s art works at Ubud. In the meantime, a young man named Rudana is a painter collector who is not self-centered. He then opened his gallery to enable everyone to relish his collection. The similar museum preserving paintings are available in the hub of Ubud such as Museum Puri Lukisan, Museum ARMA. In the meantime Museum Gedong Arca which is situated in Blahbatuh preserves all stuffs from ancient time.
Tampaksiring
Tampaksiring refers to an area belongs to Gianyar regency where RI’s palace takes place. When RI’s President comes to Bali, he will visit this palace to take rest. Still in the area of this palace, Tirta Empul Temple with its natural springs attracts so many people to come. Local people believe by taking bath in this place they will be free from any mystical sickness.
Green Terrace Rice Field-Tegalalang
Tegalalang is a green area; the weather is so pleasant and what you can see there is nothing but greenery. In the road between Ubud and Gunung Batur, there is a scenic view of majestic rice terrace. There are so many restaurants and café allowing you to have snacks or drinks while seeing the best view ever. It is breathtaking and fresh.
