Tirta Gangga - Located about six kilometers from Amlapura, the capital
city of Karangasem Regency. You can reach this area by car in about 3 hours
drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport. As a tourism object, Tirtha
Gangga is a water palace built around 1947 by the king of Karangasem. Beauty
and solitude, the palace contains a network of pool and a swimming pool
fed by a natural spring, surrounded by some of the most beautiful rice terraces
in Bali.
There are some accommodations in this area, but the most valuable one is
Villa Tirtha Ayu and Tirta Ayu Hotel. We can not comment more than this. You can access this
beautiful area in its fresh and clean air by yourself .....

Today, the palace has ben restored to its preconceived splendor with funds from the government and a family foundation, and visitors can stay on the grounds at the Tirta Ayu villas. Most of the windows from bungalows overlooked the water palace. The Palace is not a single building but a compund consisting of six large pools of varying depths, an 11-tiered fountain..

Ngaben
| Ngaben is a way of cremating human body in funeral ceremony for Balinese
Hinduism. So Ngaben should not be a tourism object or a comodity for tourism,
actually. Because, as a funeral ceremony, it is not worth of becoming it
as a performance at all. |
