| Hi, I stayed from May20-24, 2007 at Villa no. 11 of Desamuda Seminyak. Overall, I enjoyed my honeymoon and the villa was great! So was the service. If any complaints at all would be on the last day when we were told to check out early because some other guest wanted our Villa #11 and wanted to check in at 12:00pm. That was annoying. Because we were already going to leave on that day and we were going to check out around lunch time anyway. But the staff told us that she needed to vacate us early so housekeeping can clean the villa. She offered to put us in the next Villa which was Villa #9. It was a bit dirty and not kept very well. Plus I had to pack in a hurry. What I don\'t understand is that couldn\'t your staff have offered an alternative VIlla to the guest instead of vacating us? Other than this incident, evrything else was good. |

| Dear Sirs, after I am back in Germany I want to thank you for your perfect service you gave with my hotel reservation. Everything was fine organized and we could enjoy our stay in Bali from the first until the last day. The Maya Ubud hotel was great, the Oberoi Hotel Seminyak was not exactly what I have expected. The Oberoi in my opinion, compard with other hotels in Bali, has not such a warm and friendly service like e.g. Maya Ubud and the most important thing for me, the SPA in the Oberoi I would not recommend as it is very small and very noisy because of the street which is direct behind the SPA bulding. Nevertheless this trip was a great one and I am sure we will come back very soon. Best regards, Günter Hanke |

| Hi. I had the distinct pleasure of stumbling onto Villa Seminyak Estate & Spa on a search for a villa style accommodation in Seminyak Bali. Surfing through the net i saw the pictures of this villa resort fields. Villa Seminyak extended an offer i could not refuse for the type of accommodation i was going to get. Upon my arrival in Villa Seminyak i was greeted by very personalized service, which was a step more than i expected. It pleased me greatly. Than i was taken to my villa. Totally captivated by the architecture of this place,it was then that i knew i had a fantastic deal for my 6 days vacation in Bali. The biggest pull factor of this place is how each villa has its own private plunge pool. Which makes life for "lounging lizards" like me so much more pleasurable. Service at Villa Seminyak was very prompt and always with a smile. What took me even more by surprise is that according to my conversations with numerous guides and people in Bali i found out that Villa Seminyak used to be the haunt and retreat for famous artists and stars from Indonesia. I couldn't help feeling rather special at that point. My only concern with this villa style resort is that it is a little old, and requires some work on certain villas. It became obvious when the weather turned wet and i had to be relocated to another villa ( of which was even more spectacular than the first one i was in). An occasional visitor or two from the wild should be expected. If you like nature you wouldn't mind the little visits from your friendly wild life. It enhances the whole rustic and quaint feel to this resort. Food was good, though a little pricey. As expected in almost all resorts and hotels. Villa Seminyak is situated some distance away from many places of interest. However nothing that a little transport arrangement, with the resort or an external guide cant fix. On the whole i rate Villa Seminyak a 7.5 out of 10. Good work to all of you at Villa Seminyak...........keep up the standard and the smiles. Regards Ritesh. Singapore. |
