Extensive renovation covers all rooms and public areas Mar 3, 2004
|The Raddin Sanur Hotel in Bali is to be rebranded Mercure Resort Sanur - Bali when it reopens in July next year.
A budget of several million US dollars has been allocated for a total renovation of rooms and public areas, beginning early 2004.
Accor director of operations - Indonesia, Gerard Guillouet, said the Mercure Resort Sanur - Bali would be Accor's second Mercure hotel on Bali, reinforcing the company's commitment to the recovery of the island's tourism industry.
"Bali's tourism industry has proved resilient and continues to show signs of recovery, both from its traditional long-haul markets in Europe and with intra-regional Asian travellers," said Guillouet.
Accor won the management contract for the hotel and four other key properties owned by leading Indonesian hospitality company, PT Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional Tbk in April this year. (travelweeklyeast.com)
