|THE BALÉ, a Sanctuary Resort in Nusa Dua - Bali, member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World and recently included in the Condé Nast Traveler’s 80 Best New Hotels in the World Hot List 2003, is boosting its appeal to travelers with the opening of the Sanctuary Spa.
As part of Sanctuary Resorts philosophy, the Sanctuary Spa provides a wide selection of treatments in well-designed treatment rooms complimented with Sauna, whirlpools, steamers mixed with beautifully appointed gardens and water features. A complete gym is also part of the facility.
The spa at The Balé has gone through a complete face-lift in line with the accentuated design of the resort, which features water lanes that accentuate clean lines with blonde yogyastone.
Influenced by the healing rituals of the Balinese culture, the Spa provides a true and natural range of massage, body and facial treatments using natural products. Complementing these treatments, the Spa also introduces Healing Hot Stone massage, using specially selected volcanic stones used to heal the body with their mineral contact and creating state of complete relaxation.
“The treatments available at the Sanctuary Spa have been created in line with Sanctuary Resorts’ philosophy of balancing body, mind and spirit. In order to reach the balance in spiritual dimension, we are also developing meditation, yoga and other treatments that offer both physical and mental benefits in one” says Jose Luis Calle, General Manager of The Balé.
The signature treatment at The Balé, the Sanctuary Rejuvenation Ritual provides a unique experience to the guests with full body Balinese massage techniques, combined with acupressure using natural marine oil.
The spa will gradually implement new treatments while developing The Sanctuary Resorts’ “Masters in Residence’ programs where well-known Masters in local or regional exercise programs (i.e. Tai Chi, Shiatsu, etc..) will be invited to the property for periods of time to provide lectures and consultation to guests on a variety of lifestyle topics.
These programs will start with Daniel Reid, author of “The Tao of Detox”, “The complete book of Chinese Health and Healing” and many more in November 2003. Daniel is a leading authority on traditional Chinese Health & healing practices.
Sanctuary Resorts manages several resorts in Asia including The Racha on Racha Island - just off Phuket, Shinta Mani in Cambodia and are developing The Hotel de la Paix also in Siem Reap and additional resort projects: all of them sharing the same values, holistic body, mind and spirit programs and community development with environmental sustainable policies
