We have designed a special race track for our live rabbit and guiene pigs races which will be definitely a mini racing bookies dream, everybody can enjoy the racing and a sweepstake for the big event. Interesting door prizes for the best dressed male and female so a hat is pretty important…….The judges will focus on originality and design of hats. All visitors will be given a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival with 3 course set menu offered. While listening to a live band. The Melbourne Cup came as a huge part in the Australian racing history. Its very first racing was in 1861, the horse Archer as the very first to win the Melbourne Cup, he rode 850 km (560 miles) from Nowra to Flemington. The Melbourne Cup is held by VRC (Victoria Racing Club) every year on the first Tuesday in November, at the Flemington race track in Melbourne which actually has 3200 meters long. Some of the famous horses that have won the Melbourne Cup are Phar lap and Brew. Now, we’re welcoming The Melbourne Cup, a race that stops a nation.
