Garden Club Lounge at Hotel Padma Bali[published on Oct 18, 2003]
Following an extensive renovation program staged over the duration of two years, Hotel Padma Bali has revealed a stylish new look that brings an element of class to the area of Legian. Apart from a major facelift for the lobby, complete refurbishment of guest rooms and the establishment of Bella Rosa Italian restaurant, Padma’s management is proud to formally introduce the Garden Club Lounge.
More than just a conventional executive lounge that is frequented by suited businessmen, the Garden Club Lounge has been created as an inviting environment for guests to spend quality leisure time and enjoy the range of complimentary facilities.
Designed essentially as a modern open space with plenty of sunlight filtering through glass doors and windows, the lounge is a relaxing setting that re-creates the ambience of a private resort. Bold décor, sophisticated color combinations and an eclectic mixture of sofa’s and furnishings are a deliberate diversion from a traditional Balinese look. Original pieces of contemporary Indonesian artworks hang from the lounge walls highlighting the diverse talents of local painters.
Separated from the main swimming pool area by natural stonework and a soothing lotus pond, the Garden Club Lounge is facilitated with its own private plunge pool enveloped by a mini tropical garden. Change rooms and personal lockers have been included for guest convenience.
Garden Club Lounge privileges for guests include daily newspapers in English and Japanese languages, tea/coffee/soft drinks served throughout the day, afternoon tea with a selection of fresh cakes and pastries from 3.00pm onwards, and evening pre-dinner cocktails and canapés. Club Lounge Attendants are on duty throughout the duration of the day and evening to oversee guest needs and special requirements.
The lounge also provides two computers with Internet access (English and Japanese versions) for guests to maintain important business communication and deal with personal matters back home. A small, but growing, library accommodates holiday readers with a collection of novels in different languages.
Hotel Padma Bali’s Garden Club Lounge is open daily from 11am through until 11pm for the exclusive use of guests staying in the Garden Deluxe and Chalet Suite rooms. The lounge is a welcoming setting that offers exceptional benefits to international travelers and provides the opportunity to unwind in comfort and become acquainted socially with other Padma guests.
