The location of Hotel Salak Bogor is precisely opposite the Bogor Palace, just a few steps away from the Bogor Botanical Garden and Museum, right next to Bogor Municipality and Bogor Regional Offices. Hotel Salak Bogor is easily accessible from Jakarta, approximately 40 minutes drive through a toll road.

The original Hotel Salak building was constructed in 1856 during the Dutch Colonial era in Indonesia. The hotel was called Binnenhof Hotel and the name was changed to Hotel Salak Bogor in 1948.
