DIVE and SNORKLING
Amed is known for world class diving and some of Bali's best snorkeling can be found in many of Amed's little coves and bays. Amed becomes interesting to visit for its amazing luxurious underwater scenery. Its clear water is shallow-safe and gives comfort to avid divers who enjoy great marine life The coral reefs found in this area becomes another attraction of Amed that draw visitors from all over the world
Fishing and sailing
A local fishing trips and sailing can be scheduled guests to experience a beautiful sunrise or sunset in the open ocean in a local fisherman katamaran 'jukung'. You can be picked up at the hotel before sunrise. Try your luck at catching large tuna, Barracuda. then have it specially prepared that evening into a tasty, local recipe. this is a unique way to spend a vacation in Amed. We recommend taking a boat trip at sunrise or sunset , as the views from the water are breathtaking.
Trekking
Mount Agung is the biggest mountain in Bali. This stratovolcano is the highest point on the island. It dominates the surrounding area influencing the climate. Clouds come from the west and Agung takes their water so that the west is lush and green and the east dry and barren. Gunung Agung last erupted in 1963-64 and is still active, with large and very deep crater which occasionally belches smoke and dust. From a distance, the mountain looks perfect cone, although the existence of a large crater. If you leave from Bali Bhuana Beach early in the morning you can climb to the peak in time for beautiful sunrise. This is an adventure for those who want to enjoy nature up close and personal Bali. You will walk through terraced rice fields, by rivers streaming, and the native Balinese villages where you can interact with the locals, and appreciated by the scenery along the road. The whole trip will take about 3 hours.

In Karangasem regency also has a Volcanic Mountain which is the Highest mountain in Bali about 3.142 meters above the sea level. And livehood of most communities are still predominantly from Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock, and also supported by tourism.That's why until now Karangasem regency is often called with ' The Pearl of the East'.
