The economy of East Nusa Tenggara is supported by agriculture, livestock, fishery, forestry and mining. The Agriculture produces food crops that include rice, corn, peanuts and soybeans, as well as commercial crops such as coconut, cloves, rubber and cacao.
Livestock includes cows, buffaloes, horses, goats, sheep and pigs, while the Fishery produces fish and fish products such as tuna, skipjack tuna, barramundi, shrimp, anchovy, gouramy, common carp, tilapia and milk fish.
The Forestry produces rattan, resin, incense, logs, teakwood, ebony and meranti (shorea).
Mining is for petroleum, LNG, Coal and tin.
