Tepung Tawar is a ceremony that is held to welcome visitors to the region or to local villages. This ceremony is held in order to protect the visitors from bad spirits and disease for the duration of the time that they are in the area. The ceremony is marked by smearing the face of the guest on the floor and is followed by traditional music and dance known as“Burai-Burai”.

Kelebur Bejamug is a farewell ceremony to visitors or guests upon their departure. This ceremony is held by the women of the village.

Penhos is a Dayak Moang tribe punishment ceremony. The offender is tied to bamboo, carried up the river and repeatedly submerged in the water by the local people. This action is thought to cleanse not only the offender, but also the whole of the village from his sinful behavior. A traditional village feast is also held to celebrate the occasion.

Belian is a ceremony for healing disease. The belief of the Dayak Benuaq Tribe is that disease is caused by a lack of balance between body and spirit, and can be stabilized by holding this ceremony.
During this ceremony the entertainer wears a specific uniform and is followed by traditional music while delivering ritual prayer for the recovery of the sick people. The traditional ceremony of Belian is performed for seven days and nights.

Kwangkai means “fruit” or “corpse”. This is a ceremony for moving the dead body/remains of an ancestor after the body has been buried for four or five years. Then the bones are carried to a Lamin (long House) for a ceremonial service by the local people.
Generally, the ceremony is held by the Dayak Benuaq and the Dayak Tunjung tribes over a period of 21 days and nights. This ceremony is then completed by “Setinggih” - an invirtation to the spirits of their forefathers.
