Located at easternmost pf East Java, Banyuwangi is just a jumping off to Bali. It is an area that has its own richness of natural wonder and colorful cultural heritage. Two plantation tours reputed to be the most well- known world class tourist attraction are: Kalikiatak Plantation and Margo Utomo Plantation. Kalikiatak Plantation, 15 km northwest of the town on the elevation of 450-850 m above sea level has a peaceful surroundings.

A plantation tour style where tourists may make direct contact with the Javanese people on the country side is an unforgettable experience. Provided by comfortable cottages and swimming pool, Kalikiatak Plantation is popular among European travelers.
