A lake with a wide of 2 Ha, located at the height of 1.558 m above the sea level. Lies at the foot of Mount Kerinci an astonishing volcanic take. The forest around is original, never touch by human being and as well as tourism object that attract many visitors.

Several kinds of animal come here to drink and this also a place for wild duck (belibis) to assemble. So the people call it Danau Belibis (Lake Belibis). Lake Belibis could be reached through the village Gunung Labu or Kebun Baru at the sub district Kayu Aro and is about 35 km from Sungai Penuh the capital city of Kerinci.
