The miniature of Sulawesi is located in Fort of Somba Opu area. In this place are built the all sort of traditional houses of all the ethnics of South Sulawesi such as Bugis, Macassar, Mandar, Toraja, Kajang.

Each of the traditional houses is constructed artificially and uniquely which describe the cultural philosophy of each ethnic.

As it is located in the area of Bontang Somba Opu, therefore, this place is treated to be historical and cultural center. It is also functioned as the place of Cultural week (Pekan Budaya) which is usually held annually in October.

So, it is very essential to be visited by the people who appreciate and are interested in culture and history.
