The Yogyakarta economy is supported by some particular jobs. The agricultural crops mostly in terms of rice, corn, peanut, soybeans and green peas, while commercial crops include coconut, kapok, tobacco, coffee, cacao and sugar cane. The Livestock includes cows, horses, buffaloes, goats, sheep, pigs and chickens, while the fish products are shrimp, gouramy, yellow-tail fish, anchovy and common carp.
The forest produces Cajuput, kesambi, rimba, teak and murabai. The industries are home industries such as Batik printing, silk, yarn, foodstuffs, basketry and other plaited ware, brassware and weaving, hand printed batik, batik dyestuffs, cosmetics, ceramics, plastics, and leather tanneries. |
