Let me start by saying that we travelled to Bali for a month. It was me, my partner and our 3 children (4, 2, and 1). This hotel was amazing for the lot of us. It is a bit outdated, but does that really matter? They have two beds in a room one king one queen and a balcony over looking the pool. The pool is a unique shape and if there is more than 1 group of people in the pool, it gives you an area to have to yourself. The breakfasts were good, eggs any way you like along with breads and rolls, fresh fruit and salad, and always an indonesian dish or two. Nothing like some Mie Goreng to start your day off! The hotel is central to everything you could need. A mini mart across the street, souvenir shops everywhere, a place that does laundry super cheap if you walk out the hotel and to the left. Called Bagus Laundry. It's staff is wonderfully friendly and very helpful. We had problems with our credit card and they let us make the international call to our bank that took upwards of an hour free of charge. There is a lovely little restaurant attached to it that serves some good food. The nasi goreng is quite nice. But seriously don't go to Bali and skip the warungs. You must go to a Warung called Warung Melang it's in Kuta. The price is spot on, its clean and the food is amazing. The 5 of us ate like kings (Milkshakes, appetizers, mains, etc) for under 100,000 rupia or approx. $11AUD. I can't fault this hotel. We will definitely be back.
