“Amazing location”

We found that the location of this hotel was great- walking distance to eateries, cafes, bars, shops, and all required amenities as well as only 1 block walk to beach. (5 minutes) there was also tourist info and booking stations just outside hotel. Bike and moped hire was readily available also within walking distance.

And taxi were also tooting! The Hardy's supermarket was just a 3 minute walk too, which was cheaper and more convenient for us that market type stalls and no hassles to buy gifts and souvenirs.

The beach front at sanur beach was lovely also with lots of food and beverage options for all budgets! And there is a footpath/ bike path that extends 7 km from end to end which is an amazing ride.

The actual hotel room was well equipped- we had a standard room which was spacious with a king bed, wardrobe, fridge, kettle, and couch as well as cable tv. There was a porch area at from of room which had seating. The aircon worked well and the room was clean. Curtains were thick so sun didn't filter thru in the mornings and we didn't hear other guests in neighbouring rooms.

A small table and chairs would have been awesome in the room and also bedside lamps. There were some renovations going on while we stayed there but noise was kept to a minimum and didn't disturb us. The grounds were kept clean and pool looked good! Lots of seating and a bar near the pool but the pool was hot! It really needed some shade over the pool as it was not at all refreshing- more like a hot bath. Parking was abundant for cars or bikes.

The staff were nice, but probably not the best I've received in my many trips to Bali. Often tea bags, sugar or towels had to be requested as they were not replenished. We were charged for a broken coffee cup and happily paid but kind of felt disgruntled by it as it had been an accident. The staff only spoke limited English so sometimes communication was hard. We requested to use phone ( and to pay of course) to make a call back to Australia and was refused. Breakfast was included with room and was good consisting of tea, coffee, juice, toast, fruit and a choice of omelet, scrambled egg, pancakes, toasted sandwich. And the omelette was amazing. Pros- location, cost, (40000rp) per day including breakfast. Cleanliness Cons- staff not very helpful, very hot pool, seating in room.

Overall thou I think good value for money. And I would stay here again.
