Magic...peaceful and relaxing. What a view to wake to!

We stopped here on the way to Lovina with our driver. It was meant to be as we cut short our stay in Lovina (not very nice) to stay here on the way back. It was that nice. Location; You are not near any town so you are confined to the resort. It is right beside the main road but this is not a problem as the rooms are on the down hillside and in the valley. Reception; What a lovely woman (Airne?) who welcomed us. Ever helpful and smiling. She is a real asset to the resort. Quick check in and a very welcome and thankful upgrade as out room type was full! Rooms; Down lots of steps so if you have problems with walking then this just may not be for you. The poor guy who brought our heavy bags must be really fit! Our room was just lovely. Big, bright and when we opened the curtains we had.......hey presto, a wonderful view of the valley and the rice terraces! Magic. We sat here and took it all in with calm music and a good book. Food; The reataurant has glass windows with great views if you manage a table by them. There is also a cafe by reception. The food is quite good. There is a buffet on offer that has a discount for guests. We choose from the main menu and to be honest it was just pretty average. Do please reduce the price of the drinks especially water and beer as they are the most expensive we encountered in Bali. I am sure they will sell more if the price was reduced. Scenery; The view to the valley is superb and exudes peace, calm and tranquility. To sit by our door to our patio was a sheer pleasure. Beware the Mozzies! Amenities; A nice small pool- if a little overlooked from the restaurant and cafe! Overall; We both loved our 1 night here and would have stayed another only we had commitments. We would for sure stay again.
