The Annora is a very small boutique with only 13 rooms in total but it is perfectly equipped with everything you could need. There is a spa on site where all guests receive a 15 mins complimentary welcome massage (which was very good). I went back and got myself another treatment and I would highly recommend. The prices are dearer than the places you get on the streets but still very reasonable for a resort. There is small bar and restaurant where the staff were ultra polite and friendly. The breakfast is made to order rather than buffet which I was very happy about. The selection is rather limited unfortunately but still a very nice breakfast. The main pool is a lounge pool rather than a swim pool but because 7 of the villas have a private pool, the main pool was never busy.
We were in villa 6 and it was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were large and clean with enormous beds, flat screen TV and DVD player. The private pool isn't enormous but sufficient for 2 people. There was a dining area and living room area, again with a flat screen TV and DVD player. The mini-bar prices were very reasonable but the fridge was large enough for you to stock it with your own items should you wish. My only criticism of the villa was that it backed on to a backstreet so you could hear the occasional noise from the neighbours and there were some mornings that we were woken up at 6am by the next door neighbours cockrels.
The location is very good. It's a 5 mins walk to the beach. I would recommend walking to the Anatara Hotel (on the beach) and watching the sunset and we also had a very enjoyable dinner at Gado Gado restaurant (also on the beach). To get to the main hub of activity in Seminyak, it is a cab drive away but cabs are readily availble and very cheap (£3.50).
The staff didn't speak brilliant English but they were always polite and helpful when they could be. They actioned all of our requests speedily.
We really enjoyed our time at the Annora and would highly recommend it.
