Heaven in Ubud

Reviewed August 7, 2012 After a lovely stay in Legian I was unsure about our move to our accomodation in Ubud as I didn't think it could get any better, how wrong I was.

The entrance from the road was a 'blink and you'll miss it' sign but once you go down the driveway to the reception another world opens up.

We had booked 2 chalet rooms for a group of 5 women but were lucky enough to be upgraded to garden villas. We were guided through some amazing carved doors to our private villas to a beautiful villa with a set of stairs leading up to a massive day bed with views over the well maintained gardens.

Breakfast was a small buffet offering but more than ample. The resort has 2 pools, they are not overly large but are more than ample and were never crowded. The staff were very friendly. I enjoyed a few walks around the resort, which I suggest you do if you are staying there to really appreciate this place.

The gardens are stunning and have a very calming effect. If I was to return to Bali I would definately return to Kamadalu..
