I really enjoyed our hut (#1). The room, while small, was very clean and has a very comfortable large bed (that fills most of the room). There is a balcony with a view of the sea, which is great for sitting outside and relaxing, reading, etc. The bathroom is outside and the shower only has cold water, but in the warm weather, that's not a big deal, although a hot water option could be nice and the bathroom floor could've been cleaned more thoroughly each day. The people who run the huts are great - very helpful and accommodating. Taro helped set us up on diving and snorkeling trips with Pro Dive, which is right next door (and by the way, I highly recommend this outfit - Wayan, the divemaster, is fantastic). The restaurant is right on the beach, and serves good food. Mushroom Bay is peaceful and beautiful, especially after the day trippers leave in late afternoon. After seeing other parts of the island, this is definitely one of the best places on the island to stay. All in all, we really enjoyed our time in Mushroom Bay and staying at these huts.
