Mount Rinjani is one of the beautiful tourism objects in Lombok. It is the second highest volcanic peak in Indonesia. Mount Rinjani National park covers about 413 km² and consists of mountainous areas. Mount Rinjani (Gunung Rinjani), which is the third highest mountain of Indonesia (3.726 m), is located in this national park, giving this park its name. There are over 20 villages surround Mt. Rinjani and there are many routes up the mountain, but the main access is from Senaru in the north and Sembalun Lawang in the east. The challenging four days Rinjani Trek route from Sembalun to the crater rim down to the stunning Crater Lake is considered one of the best treks in South East Asia.

Your Journey
DAY 1: Hotel – Sembalun – Base Camp 1
We will pick you up in the hotel early morning for Sembalun village. It will take about 3,5 hours to arrive there. This village is a gateway to Gunung Rinjani National park. Most of the communities are farmers who are mixture of the indigenous people and new comers from other areas of Lombok. Lunch will be served in this village. After having lunch, we will start hiking to Tenganan Village for overnight.

DAY 2: Base Camp 1 – RIM
After having breakfast we will leave the camp for the RIM. We will arrive there on lunch time and we will overnight in this place.

DAY 3: RIM – Top of Mountain – Lake Segara Anak
We will start the hiking to the top of mount Rinjani at 2 a.m, so you have to wake up early on day 3. It will take three and half hour to reach the top of the mountain before 6 a.m in order to be able to see the sun rise and the whole Lombok Island. We will leave the top of the mountain for Lake Segara Anak at 7.30 a.m. We will arrive at this lake at lunch time. For the rest of the day you may relax by doing some activities in the lake, such as fishing or visiting the hot spring, and we will overnight in this place.

DAY 4: Lake Segara Anak - Senaru
On day 4, we will start hiking at 6.30 a.m for the RIM and from the RIM we will go down to Senaru village. Arriving at this village, we will transfer you to your hotel or airport for your next destination.
