Claiming Your Luggage
Please refer to the Flight Information television screens for your Baggage Claim belt. If you baggage is missing or damaged, please proceed to the respective airline’s ‘Lost & Found’ counter
Clearing Customs
Proceed to the Green Channel, if you do not have controlled or prohibited items to declare and have not exceeded your Duty Free Concession or GST Relief. Use the Red Channel if you have items to declare or are unsure.
Purchasing Duty Free Liquor
You are entitled to Duty Free Concession and may purchase 1 litre of liquor, wine and beer each if you:
-are at least 18 years of age
-have arrived from countries other than Malaysia
-have been away from Singapore for for at least 48 hours
Receiving Goods and Services Tax (GST) Relief
When shopping
Buy from stores displaying Tax Free Shopping logo; spend S$100 at any one shop or S$300 in total receipt; make sure you obtain a Global Refund Cheque from the shop.
At the customs
Present your goods purchased with the Global Refund Cheques, receipts and passport to the Customs Officer
Collecting your Refund
Choose to have your refund in cash, cheque, credited to your credit or as a Changi Shopping Voucher. If you pick the voucher, 10% will be added to the value.
*During Transit
If you HAVE a Boarding Pass of your Connecting Flight
Just check your flight number at the Flight Information TVs for the departure GATE and TIME. Please proceed to the departure GATE at least 30 mins before the departure TIME
If you DO NOT HAVE a Boarding Pass of your Connecting Flight
1.Proceed to the terminal where your next connecting flight depart
2.Check-in at any Transfer Lounges in the terminal of your departing flight
You Do NOT need to collect your baggage as it will be automatically checked through your final destination
Take The Skytrain between terminals
You can travel between terminals via the skytrain that operates daily from 6 am to 1.30am. the ride takes no more than two minutes and is free of charge. You can take the travellators to move between terminals during non-operating hours.
