Overview: Situated near the Bauerfield International Airport (with free air-conditioned bus transfers), Cascade Waterfalls, Port Vila Golf & Country Club, and Hideaway Marine Sanctuary; this 'Mini Resort' offers guests a unique blend of traditional exterior and surrounding architecture and exposure to village culture combined with modern self-contained interior designed bungalows.
Facilities & Services: The reception building offers 'Alice's Eatery', TV/Video room, international phone and fax facilities, 'smol stoa' (small convenience store), photocopying, and a conference room for up to 8 (includes overhead projector, TV/Video, large wall-mounted whiteboard, and flipchart).
Entertainment and activities. The long running 'Solo's Feast'n'Fun Night' with cava tasting, ground oven cooking, and traditional song and dance held most Thursday nights, is offered at discounted prices to our guests. Couple that with a unique swimming pool with 'Swim-Up-Bar' and green surroundings, maintained lawns with ample poolside furniture, and the friendly, family styled care and attention, yet high service, and guests quickly become reluctant to leave.
Accommodation: Worawia prefer to have a small, intimate resort where the waits are a little shorter, the service is a bit more personal, and the chance of being treated like family (rather than customers) is a little more likely. So we have only one family bungalow and three regular bungalows. This allows us a maximum of 18 guests at any one time. (So get your reservations in early.)
The Family Bungalow has three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining/sitting room, and a traditionally styled verandah with deck chairs. One bedroom has a double bed, while the other two have double-decker single bunk beds. The bungalow can sleep up to six people. All bedrooms have wardrobes for hanging your clothing.
The Regular Bungalows are designed for up to four people, although one will generally be set aside for double share (two people) only. They all have a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe, a bathroom, a kitchen/dining/sitting room, and a verandah. The two bungalows for up to four people also have either a sofa bed or a double-decker single bunk bed.
The bungalows are cleaned every day and linen is changed every second day. A laundry service (for a modest fee) is also available upon request.
All bungalows, or Fares (Faahr-rays) as they are known locally, are self-contained which allows guests the freedom to choose either a home-away-from-home (self-catered) holiday or a complete bludge holiday - with all meals prepared by your hosts.
