of signature dishes and a collection of Indonesian and
Balinese favorites. The Restaurant’s elegant and

Alila Manggis’ Cooking School is a unique course
conducted over a period of five days. It focuses on
Indonesian but essentially Balinese food. The format
for the school is such that participants spend half
the day in the kitchen and the other half exploring
Bali from a culinary and cultural point of view. Participants
learn how to make sambal, classic satay, Balinese fish
dishes, curries and traditional sweets.
Alila Manggis’ Cooking School offers three programs
of half-day, two days or five days duration.
There are seven 5-Day Programs and twenty-two 2-Day
Programs available for 2003. All programs, including
a half-day course, can be made available upon request.
