| Medical Evacuations
Air Bali is constantly involved with medical evacuation flights from remote islands around Bali. With our knowledge of these islands and the ever changing weather conditions, we are able to deliver an evacuation in the shortest of time. Air Bali have agreements with the major medical institutions in Bali to transport critical ill and/or injured patients from remote islands to Bali. Our helicopters are in operation from 06.30 am until 18.15 pm every day, 7 days a week. Cruising speed of 185 km/h. A doctor always accompanies a medivac flight to assist the patient when we arrive on the scene. Air Bali can evacuate two patients on two stretchers at one time.
Air Bali also operates a Super King Air 200 (from March 2005) and a Cessna C525 Air Ambulance Jet. These aircraft is suited for international medical evacuation flights. For more information, please see the airplanes section of this website.
Search and Rescue
Air Bali's helicopters have been involved in various Search and Rescue work over the past four years. With the speed and efficiency of our aircraft, we can cover huge coastal areas in a very short time. In the past, Air Bali have rescued people from mountains, brought patients from large oil tankers to shore and found missing persons and vessels at sea.
Film and Aerial Photography
Over the past four years, Air Bali has been involved with numerous television, film and documentary companies, using our aircraft for aerial photography and filming. Our pilots are highly experienced in this field.
A Minimum charter of 1 hour applies @ US$ 1,250 per hour. If required for helicopter to remain over night out of Bali (RON), a fee of US$ 330 per night applies. Waiting fee on location US$ 165 per hour.
