Day 01: Hotel-Senaru Village-Base Camp III
Early morning pick up from your hotel and transfer directly by car to Senaru village, on
the north of the island, the route takes you through many fields of carefully cultivated
terraced crops, dense tropical forest and barren hills where all trees have been cut for
wood value. Trekking Senaru base camp 2500 meters above sea level, it will be very good
for evening dinner. The temperature on the camp is below 10 C so it is always needed to
use a sleeping bag. Overnight a tent. (L,D)
Day 02: Base Camp-Lake
Base Camp III
After an early breakfast climb up to the rim of the
crater to watch the morning sun rises. And the fantastic scenery of lake from the height
of 3000 meters where you may have a shower. As you are on the mountain plateau the
temperature is moderate to cool, contrasting to the tropical heat experienced at sea
level, here a stop made for lunch. Lake Segara Anak lies as an old extinct volcano crater
at the height of over 3726 meters, centered in the middle of lakes is Mount Baru, a newly
formed volcano rising steeply from the water, creating a spectacular sight. Overnight at

Day 03: Base Camp
III-Senaru Village-Hotel
After having breakfast early in the morning, return
to the village of Senaru and will take 4 or 5 hours walking. Here stop is made for lunch.
From Senaru Village you will be transferred to your hotel. (B,L)
