Day 01: Jakarta-Bandung (200 km)
Begin this journey across Java in Jakarta with a
visit to the renown national Museum. Travel to Bogor and visit the famed Botanical Garden
before proceeding to Puncak where a visit to one of the many tea plantations has been
arranged. Following luncheon pass the summer Presidential Palace (1750) at Cipanas and
continue to Bandung-capital of West Java. (L)
Day 02: Bandung
Explore the area around Bandung and the only itself. Included a visit to Tangkuban Perahu
Crater, the only volcano easily accessible by car. Also included is Crater with its
hot-springs. Take a swim in the pools before returning for exploration of Bandung. The
last visit is Padasuka village to see the Angklung Performance. (B,L)
Day 03: Bandung-Yogyakarta (540
km-Journey by train)
Early morning after breakfast, transfer to train
station, enjoy riding local train with the local people escorted by the guide should be an
experience. Arrival Yogyakarta transfer to hotel for accommodation. Evening dinner with
cultural performance. (B,L,D)
Day 04: Yogyakarta
Enjoy leisurely drive through the rice fields and small towns of Magelang to Dieng
plateau. There we will visit the oldest Hindu Temples in Java. These temples are set in a
strange and beautiful landscape within the huge marshy caldera of a volcano that erupted
long ago.
After lunch, we continue our journey to the famed Buddhist Shrine, Borobudur. Built in the
8th century this shrine is the largest artistic expression of the principles of the
Buddhist religion combining art and architecture to produce true "Wonder of the

Day 05: Yogyakarta Departure
A total day to explore the rich life of Yogyakarta.
Included are to the Sultans Palace (The Kraton) and the monumental Hindu Temple
complex of Prambanan. Stops are also made to see the intricate process of Batik making and
to appreciate the work of the silver craftsmen. Late afternoon transfer to Yogyakarta
airport and your flight to Denpasar, Bali. Your guide in Java will bid you farewell and
you will be welcomed by our guide in Bali. (B,l) |
