Puncak Tedung, Petang - Bali
It's about 35 kms to the north direction of Denpasar City. This area is classified as a virgin area for tourism development in Bali, especially in Badung regency. All are natural, and at this condition this area promises another sense of eco-tourism in the modern days.

Start Time
If you are staying at Nusadua area, we will pick you up in time range of 07.45 - 08.15 am; Kuta and Sanur at 08.00 - 08.30; and for and Ubud at 07.45 - 08.00.

Your Journey
wtg1.jpg (16159 bytes)For those who are staying at Nusadua, Sanur and Kuta, your journey to trekking location will pass by the Denpasar (Capital City of Bali province). Then go to the north direction through Abiansemal, Sangeh, Carangsari, and then Petang. Total distance of your journey is about 35 kms (depends on the location of your hotel). In Sangeh you will see many monkeys in the both side of the road, sometime they will cross the road when you are passing by. The forest in the left side of the road is their home. It is advisable for you to not bother the group of monkeys. They just want to have a snack or bread from you. Give them if you have it. Then, Carangsari village is a location in which some rafting company operates their main activities, that is rafting, in the Ayung River. Your journey will be nice one. There are many things could be seen with a nice sense. You will reach the location in about 45 minutes, depends on your hotel location.

 

Your Trekking
Base Camp I
. After arrival, your will be taken care by our special guide for this tour package. They are waiting for you in Petang village. The guide will explain all related information to the trekking. Then the trekking will begin. First, we across the bamboo bridge and we see Pura Tetaman (Tetaman temple). You are provided with bag, and other items such as Aqua, fruits, rain jackets, hat, staff (climbing wooden stick), and sash for the temple. Those who wearing short will be provided with sarong so you can enter the temple without breaking out the rules. During the journey, our guide will explain any interesting things to you or answer any question from you such culture, fruits and anything.

wtg2.jpg (21516 bytes)Stage I. This is a place where you take a rest for coffee break, Balinese cakes, fruits. This will make you fresh again before keeping on your journey.

Stage II. Have a lunch. The menu are kidney bean, red rice, 1/2 pieces salt egg, fried peanut, salad, tempeh (fermented soybean cake), chicken. We will not explain more about the menu. Our guide will do it in front of you in the location. Just one thing, all the dishes are in good quality of health. Just be careful with the cillie. Don't eat too much if you can not be hang by its taste. You will take a rest in this place for one hour. Enjoy it.
Stage III. Coconut stop. Have a coconut water drink in this place; meanwhile you can see the temple of Simpang Tiga. After a few minute rest you will continue walking to the Stage IV.

Stage IV. The Final Climb. The most interesting one in the top of the mountain, the Puncak Tedung. this is the highest point of your journey. There is a real holy temple in this place, namely Pura Bukit Tedung. Our guide will explain to you about this temple in details.

Stage V. The end of your trekking journey. Our drivers with their landrover will have been waiting for you in this place to take you to the Base Camp I. Arrive at the Base camp I, you will have a traditional massage from our massagers. You will also have a cup of tea or coffee and cookies.
