Start Time
Hotel pick up time for hotel in the area of Sanur, Kuta, Nusadua, and Kerobokan is from 7.45 am to 08.00 am; while Canggu area at 07.00 am - 07.45 am. For hotels in Ubud area, the pick up time will be at 07.00 am (with additional charge US $ 7.00/ person each way). The sailing will depart at 17.30 pm and return to dock at Benoa harbor at 09.00 am. You may arrive back at your hotel on 6.00 pm (depend on your hotel location).

Your journey
Leave Benoa harbor for Nusa Lembongan island at 9.00 am, across Badung Strait. The sailing will take about 2 hours depend on the wind.
Over coffee an sweet rolls you watch the great volcano Gunung Agung on the horizon as the song of the wind in the sails melts your cares away ...
On the open sea we'll troll for surface fish and watch the colorful perahus go by. Before you know it, WakaLouka glides into a pristine cove with crystal clear turquoise water and a white sand beach where the private resort WakaNusa awaits ...
In Lembongan island, before lunch join our informative guide for a ride through Lembongan's quaint village to a picturesque bay and seaweed farm. Or, if you like swimming, use the resort's snorkeling gear to explore the mysterious underwater world with its enchanted coral reefs and multicolored sealife.
Your return to the resort is rewarded with a healthy and generous barbeceu buffet of delicious Western and Indonesian dishes. Perhaps a fish from our morning catch will be sizzling on the grill...
After lunch take a tour of the coral reefs by glass bottom boat, swim in our ocean front pool, or simply laze in the sun attended by our gracious Balinese staff ...
Then, as the afternoon sun washes the beach with golden light, you finish a last game of volleyball or table tennis and head back to WakaLouka for the journey home ...

Catamaran, the famous sailing

A statement in style and luxury - a 23 meter sailing machine to deliver you across the Badung Strait to Lembongan island and the WakaNusa resort. She was especially built here in Bali at Tanjung Benoa - Supervised and designed by a Frenchman and built by Balinese.

The WakaLouka has a large spacious Cabin able to accommodate forty people seated and up to twenty outside (seated). The voyage to the island takes approximately two hours motor sailing. Fresh cakes, Bali coffee, soft drinks and tea are served - complimentary of course throughout the trips.
We fish on the way and catch tuna, mahi-mahi and Spanish mackarel. Dolphins are often seen and they play around our boat. Avant garde music, they sound of the sea and wind - you are in another world. You have left behind the noise the hustle and bustle, the traffic and the other Bali - You're on your way to pure paradise.
We sail along the coastline of Bali from Benoa harbor; past Turtle Island, past Sanur to the land mark of the Bali Beach Hotel, the black sand beach and the plain of Gianyar below the foot hills of the mountains and there it is - Gunung Agung raising above Padang Bai and Candidasa in the distance - you see at all.

The island of Lembongan is soon reached where we go ashore by our glass bottom boat. A traditional greeting and welcome drink - then you can laze by the pool or on the beach or get straight into our activities. Go surfing to one or all of three great reef breaks.
Go snorkeling to play grounds reef. or have a trip down to the reefs by glass bottom boat for a swim or just stay in the boat
and watch the fish.
Go by vehicle to the village of Lembongan. See the underground house, seaweed farm and seaweed drying/curing. Lie on the golden sand beach in front of the resort, play volleyball or ping pong - the crew love to win - or fall sleep in the deck chairs.Back to the boat tired suntanned happy - the sails are raised and off we go, home to Benoa - sunset cocktails - English tea cake and setting sun - pure romance - an unforgettable experience.

Completing your tour
Arrive back at Benoa harbor at 6.00 pm, our staff will be ready to transfer you to your hotel.
Abroad and sailing again, Dolphins may cross our bows as you bask on deck in the warm breeze. Or, relax at the bar with a cocktail and enjoy Nature's spectacular sunset display.
