Method of Healing |

Aromatherapy is a combining word of aroma and therapy.
This therapy uses essential oils, blended with natural plant base
oils, to treat disease. The indigenous people of Indonesia have
for a long time used aromatherapy to heal or reduce their malady.
For instance, they use it for massage in terms of "minyak gosok"
(oils used to treat any surface wounds or bruises). Lulur, for example,
has been practiced by Javanese women to care their body. In modern
body care, this lulur is known as body scrub. The incense is also
another sort of treatment to relax and rejuvenate by smelling various
kinds of their sweet smells and also has long been used by Indonesian
people.
Aromatherapy is a complimentary alternative health modality. Its
current use is not intended to replace standard medical care, but
is meant to compliment it. Aromatherapy can offer an alternative
choice to taking prescription or over-the-counter chemical drugs.
Aromatherapy can offer practical benefit for a variety of common
ailments or symptoms such as assisting with cuts, wounds, bruises,
inflammation, indigestion, acne, skincare, hair care, hygiene, PMS,
menstruation, and for providing mental and emotional assistance
with such issues as stress, fatigue, anxiety, fear, and the list
goes on and on!
Now, people tend to be back to nature out of consideration that
alternative healing is safer than modern medical practice. The making
of aroma therapeutic products is usually traditional. The materials
are purely plant-based that are derived from the best quality. For
those who are against animal testing, these natural products are
their best choices since most of natural aromatic products of Indonesia
are made in home industry.
The products taken from the herbs or trees have the power to give
healing benefits. These products come into various items, such as
essential oils, massage oils, creams, soaps and incense. The vast
array of Indonesia's plants richness provides a great number of
herbal leaves, spices, flowers and roots.
The following table lists the common essential oils and the botanical
names of the plants that they derive.

To mention a few, followings are some parts of
herbs and trees that have healing power that are commonly used as
essential oils. Essential oils contain the true essence of the plant
it was derived from. Essential oils are not the same as perfume
oils or fragrance oils. Where essential oils are derived from the
true plants, perfume oils are artificially created fragrances

As of our products, we use only natural material. To color the our
aromatic candle we use food coloring instead of textile coloring.
Our incense stick is made of grated teak that can be kept for one
year and after that you can still smell its original perfume since
in the method of its making we plunge the stick in the aromatic solution.
All products are hand-made and use nature-base materials only.
